"Whenever a new discovery is reported in the scientific world they say, first, 'It is probably not true.'  Thereafter when the truth of the new proposition has been demonstrated beyond question, they say 'Yes, it may be true, but it is not important.' Finally when sufficient time has elapsed to evidence fully its importance they say, 'Yes, surely it is important, but it is no longer new.'"

Montaigne (The essayist, France, 1533 -1592)

Dr. Wild's Mission

Dr. Wild is working to complete development of an early ultrasonic breast cancer detection system used to analyze and evaluate soft tissue structure and track tissue growth and development.  He is currently modernizing the early breast cancer detection system that he first used in the 1950s to detect lesions as small 1 mm in the breast.  To date, his original work has not been fully applied in the field of diagnostic ultrasound, which he pioneered.
